Dr. Phil Gill
Dr. Gill, a Nebraska native, joined Riverside Animal clinic in 1997 upon earning his DVM degree at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys working with all species but has a special interest in small ruminants. In his free time Phil enjoys hunting, fishing, and working with his small flock of sheep. Phil lives on an acreage outside of Springfield with his wife Phlayne and son Jakob. Mikayla is attending SDSU and has an interest in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Jason Beyer
Dr. Beyer is an Iowa State grad. He joined Riverside Animal Clinic in July of 2012. Jason and his wife April live in Springfield with their two daughters. Jason enjoys gardening and home improvement projects and going back to the family farm to help with the cattle.
Dr. Katelyn Stark
Katelyn grew up on a farm near Sanborn, MN where her family raises Black Angus cattle. She received a BA in Animal Science from South Dakota State before graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Stark joined Riverside Animal Clinic in June of 2019. She is passionate about dairy and beef production medicine, as well as small animal medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Stark enjoys traveling, hiking with her dogs, and spending time on her family farm.
Dr. Kaitlyn Dreher
Born and raised in southeast Minnesota, Kaitlyn spent years on dairy, beef, and horse farms. This sparked her interest in becoming a veterinarian. In her journey to Riverside Animal Clinic, she received a Bachelor's in Biology from Winona State University in 2016 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2022. In her free time, she likes to walk her dogs, read books, or relax with video games. She lives with her husband and two dogs (Willow & Spruce).
Dr. Brady Myers
A native to the Redwood Falls area, Dr. Myers has recently moved back to his hometown with his wife Kasey and their 3 children. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of Minnesota and joined Riverside Animal Clinic in January of 2024. He practices both large and small animal medicine however his specialty is in large animal reproduction. He enjoys spending time with his family and in his free time you can find him helping out at his family's sheep farm.
Elizabeth Madsen
Liz joined the Springfield office in March 2024 and is one of the first faces you see when walking in the building. She lives on a farm near Morgan with her husband and 3 kids and likes to keep busy by traveling and camping when able.
Ann Bruns
Ann is a graduate of Ridgewater College and has worked in the
Redwood Falls location for the last 25 years. She lives in Redwood
with her significant other Bruce and raises Boston Terriers. In her
free time she enjoys traveling, golfing, going to the lake, and spending
time with her friends, family and especially her 8 grandchildren.
Macy Simonson
Macy is a certified vet tech who graduated from Ridgewater College. She joined our team in June of 2018 and works full time in our Springfield office. Macy and her husband Andy live on a farm outside of town with their 3 dogs; Champ, Gunner and Alfie and 2 cats; Grover and Ellie. In Macy's free time she enjoys going to the lake, being outdoors, drinking coffee and anything that includes her fur-kids.
Sam Ramsbacher
Sam is the office manager and also a vet tech who graduated from Ridgewater in 2015 and started at the clinic after graduation. She works in our Springfield office and also assists the doctors in the country. Sam lives on a farm outside of town with her husband Alex and their three children, Wes, Lane and Tessa. In her free time, she enjoys sunny days, lake time, and a good book.
Michelle Johanneck
Michelle, born and raised in Redwood Falls, currently works part time in the Redwood office. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Ridgewater College in 2007 and joined the Riverside Animal Clinic team in 2010. She lives in Redwood Falls with her husband Scott and their four preschool-aged daughters. Keeping up with the kiddos leaves little free time, but she enjoys going to the family's lake cabin and being outdoors whenever possible. She also enjoys coffee, a lot of coffee!
Hannah Hacker
Hannah is a part time veterinary technician, working in both Redwood Falls and Springfield. She can be found working at Red Door Kennel when she's not working at Riverside. Hannah grew up on a farm outside of Morgan. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, lake time, hanging out with her cat, Tom, and spending time with friends and family.
Kris Jeckell
Kris is a Certified Veterinary Technician and a graduate of Ridgewater College. She works in our Redwood Falls office. Kris can also be found assisting the vets on various farm calls and really enjoys assisting with our equine patients. Besides spending time with her 3 sons, Kris enjoys reading and horseback riding in her down time.
Erin Sellner
Erin works part time in the Springfield office as a receptionist and assistant. She lives south of Sleepy Eye on a dairy farm with her husband and three kids.
When time allows, she loves to be out on the farm and spending time with family.
